Homogeneous Conductive ESD Vinyl Tiles for Electronics Manufacturing
Project Overview
- Location: Vietnam
- Application: Electronics Manufacturing Factory / Cleanroom
- Product Used: Homogeneous Conductive ESD Vinyl Tiles
- Product Specification: 600 × 600 × 2.0 mm
- Project Area: 5,000 m²
Project Background
This project involved the supply and installation of homogeneous conductive ESD vinyl tiles for a modern electronics manufacturing facility in Vietnam. In electronics production and cleanroom environments, uncontrolled electrostatic discharge may damage sensitive electronic components and interfere with production equipment.
The client therefore required a flooring system with stable electrical resistance, low body voltage generation, fast static decay, strong dimensional stability and reliable resistance to rolling loads.
Our ESD Flooring Solution
- Stable Conductive Performance: The EC conductive flooring provides an electrical resistance range of approximately 2.5 × 104 to 1.0 × 106 Ω, depending on the applicable testing method.
- Low Static Generation: Body voltage generation is below 50 V under AATCC 134 and below 100 V under the stated Chinese test standard.
- Fast Static Decay: The flooring dissipates a 5,000 V static charge rapidly, with decay-time results below 0.01 or 0.02 seconds under the specified MIL test method.
- Heavy-Duty Use Classification: Classified as Class 34 for heavy commercial use and Class 43 for heavy industrial use.
- Rolling and Static Load Resistance: The flooring shows no damage under castor-chair testing and provides a static load limit of 1,500 psi.
- Chemical Resistance: The surface provides excellent resistance to common chemicals used in electronics manufacturing and cleanroom maintenance.
- Repairable and Recyclable: Individual tiles can be repaired or replaced when necessary, and the flooring material is recyclable.
